Mt Batur Sunrise

Before the day stirs in the highlands, a private 4x4
climbs Mount Batur’s eastern slopes to a prime
viewpoint at around 1,300 metres, where sunrise
spills across Lake Batur and the Kintamani caldera.
The route then cuts through the stark beauty of the
1963 lava flow, weaving between black basalt
formations and remote farming plots for cinematic
photo stops. The morning softens with a restorative
soak at Batur Natural Hot Spring, complete with
panoramic lake views, followed by lunch.
